The Glen Waverly Library is one of the branch libraries of the Monash Public Library Service of the Monash Council. The library is located about 25km away from the Melbourne city. This library was open to public in 2002. The library provides a range of locally relevant resources that meet the needs of the community.
This library features a community hall, learning and training rooms, computer lab, meeting rooms, space for the elderly and children, home library, etc. The library has very decent collection of fiction, non-fiction, magazines, and digital resources.
The library attracts between 300 and 500 visitors every day. The library operates from 10.00am to 09.00pm on Monday – Friday, 09.00am – 04.00pm on Saturday; and 02.00pm – 05.00pm on Sunday.
